JavaScript – How to enable it


JavaScript is a common computer language.
If you already have JavaScript enabled but it is not recognised, try clearing the browser cache or refreshing the page.
We also recommend you use one of the browsers we support as listed below.
Here’s what to do if you’re being asked to enable JavaScript, depending on what browser you’re using:

Internet Explorer

In the Tools menu select Internet Options
Click on the Security tab
Click on Custom Level
Scroll down to the section labelled Scripting
Under Active Scripting, select Enable and click OK
Close Settings and click Reload this application

Internet Explorer on Mac

Go to Tools then Internet Options
Click on the Security tab
Click on Custom Level
Scroll down to the section labelled Scripting
Under Active Scripting, select Enable and click OK
Close Settings and click Reload this application

Mozilla Firefox

Since version 29, Firefox users can only disable or enable JavaScript via advanced settings. Please also ensure that if you have a script blocking tool such as NoScript installed it is set to allow this site. Chrome

Go to Chrome Menu
Click on Settings
Click on Show Advanced Settings
Under Privacy click on Content Settings
Under JavaScript select “Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)”
Click OK
Close Settings and click Reload this application

Safari on Mac OS X

In the Safari menu select Preferences
Click on the Security tab
Make sure the Enable JavaScript box is ticked
Close Preferences and Reload this application

Safari on iOS

Open Settings
Tap Safari
Tap Advanced
Make sure the JavaScript slider is set to enabled
Return to Safari and reload this application
